Here are some customs for warrior cats:
Border Patrols: Each clan has boundaries, and no cat should cross into another clan's territory unless there is an emergency ( meaning don't post in another clan's board unless something special is happening). The deputy will organize teams of warriors and apprentices ( normally like 3-5 cats ) to patrol the borders daily. If suspicious activity is discovered, a cat should inform the leader or deputy.
Ceremonies: The leader will perform ceremonies on a high part in the camp , above a large clearing for the clan to gather. Ceremonies can be for naming a cat into an apprentice, warrior, elder, or deputy. In a typical naming ceremony, the leader will call forward the cats that are changing their names. She/he will then call upon Starclan to give the cats new names. If the cats are becoming apprentices, the leader will state the new apprentices' mentors. If the cats are becoming warriors, the leader will make the new warriors promise to protect his/her clan and the warrior code with his/her life. The rest of the clan will respond by shouting the new names of the cats. If the cat(s) are becoming elders, the leader will say the words of the elder ceremony. If the cat is becoming a deputy, the leader will say why he/she should be deputy and the clan members will congratulate the new deputy.
Gatherings: Every month, when there's a full moon, Hailclan and Stormclan meet on an island near the lake in peace. No fighting is allowed. The leaders announce what's happening in his/her clan. The Gathering gives an opportunity for cats to interact with cats from another clan.
MedicineCat Gatherings : The medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice from each each clan meet at the Starpool every time the moon is half-full. Starpool is a mysterious place to connect with Starclan. Starpool is a glittering pond inside a cave. The medicine cats drink a tiny bit from the pool and fall asleep. Starclan cats will then come to their dreams; when something important or big is going to happen, a Starclan cat can tell the medicine cat at this meeting.
A Deputy Becoming A Leader: When a leader dies, the medicine cat will take the deputy to the Starpool. The deputy will drink from the Starpool, and Starclan will come. The deputy will be visited by 9 Starclan cats that have had connections him/her. The last of the nine will be the leader that just died. Each cat will give the deputy a life, each life representing something like courage or kindness. Once the deputy has received his 9 lives, Starclan will hail him by his new name ending with "star."
When a cat dies: When a cat dies, no matter what rank, it is a tradition for the elders of the clan to carry the dead cat(s) into the clearing. The cats that were close to the dead cat(s) will watch over the cat(s). Then the elders will bury the dead cat(s).
When a cat becomes a warrior: When a cat becomes a warrior, it is stated in the warrior code that the every warrior will sit vigil at that night. Sitting vigil means watching and protecting over something. The new warriors will sit vigil and watch over the camp as everyone else sleeps.
