She padded into the med. cats den for the 2 time that week, she held Splashkit in her mouth and gently put him down in a moss nest then mewed weekly "Please, I need you, my kit has been blinded" She cried mournfully, his dream to become a warrior would never ome true, she buried her head in his fluffy fur, drawing in his sweet kit scent

Splashkit whimpered and backed away as the medicine cat put the herb on. "How long will my eyes hurt?" He asked "Will I be blind forever?"
