Seeing it didn't move.She smiled then ran toward it,pawed it away then pounced on it playfully,''I claim this,''She purred happily as she got up and pawed it again and went after it.

Frostflower shook her head, "No Rosekit," She mewed firmly, picking her gently up off the piece of fresh kill, "See how its squished and yucky now? I cant eat it and neither can anyone else, StarClan took its life to feed us, we dont play with freshkill" She mewed, lapping at Rosekits fluffy kit pelt

She looked sad,''We don't play with freshkill..?"She quietly mewed as she looked over to the vole, what she was playing.It was squished and yucky.She ruined it.Tears came to her eyes as she leaped back,dodging the licks she was given.//Is she mad at me..?// She thought worriedly.

She purred then drew her closer once more, "I'm not mad at you Darling if thats what you think, you and your littermates just need to know that thats not what we do with freshkill" She mewed gently, lapping at her daughters head

She cocked her head then mewed slowly, "W-well, I dont exactly know, no one can eat it so I guess I might as well go bury it outside of camp, I'll be right back Darling, be good and dont leave the nursery!" She smiled then picked the vole up and padded out of the nursery

She nodded,watching her disappear.About to turn around she murmured,''Outside..?"She quietly mewed,then had an idea.
She looked back and caught up with her mother,running underneath her,she mewed,''Oh,could I come with you..please?"Giving her a cute face.

"No, you cant, kits must stay in the nursery, now go play with your littermates until I get back" She mewed, giving her kit a gentle shove back towards the nursery

She came out from where ever she was after hearing her call."Mommy?"She mewed,looking for her.Once she found her,she ran over to her happily.
