*yawns, comes out of her den for a night walk, when she sniffs* //whats.....this?// *a bunch of pawsteps and a pack of wild dogs pours into the clearing* //what?!// *sees the bony outlines and their starving faces, eyes wild and starved* EVERYONE!! GET OUT OF THE DENS!! PROTECT THE QUEENS AND ELDERS!! ALL WARRIORS AND APPRENTICES!!! TO ME!!!! *lets out a yowl and tackles one, claws sinking into skin, only to meet bone, the dog yelps and throws her across the clearing* //no effect? theyre too hungry!//

[Vinespirit]

*charges out, blinking out the sleep in his eyes, lets out a furious cry and lands on a dog, sinking his claws in furiously*

[Blazestar]

*thinks fast and screams out* Owlfeather, Wavestream, Oceanbreeze, Pebblestorm, Ravenclaw, Mistycloud, Briarlight, Emberblaze, Vinespirit, Silverpelt, Heatherwind, Bluepaw, Shadowpaw, help me fight! Snowpaw, Nightshadow, Featherwing, take the elders and queens! Rosepaw, Oakfall, Dapplesong, take the kits! Hollypelt, go with them, but keep watch for wounded warriors! go!

[Dapplesong]

*slips into the nursery, urges out the queens and kits, slashes at a hungry dog, aiming for a kit* come! hurry! urges the kits and takes a few in her mouth, pushes the others to oakfall and rosepaw, runs with them*

[Nightshadow]

*hisses at the elders* this way! surrounds the elders and queens with featherwing and the new apprentice.* thought this would be easy, didnt you? *smiles* its okay, we're strong, we'll fight them off, come on, lets go, towards the back tunnel!

[Pebblestorm]

*charges at a bony dog. jumps up and slashes with long claws into the back of its neck. hangs on for a second, then lets go, landing gracefully, but full of rage. suprised as the dog charges and bites at his hind leg.* AHHH! //mudwhisker, this is for you!// *turns and slashes st the dog's eye, cutting a long mark along the dog's eye. the dog lets go, but charges again* //why wont they run?//

[Ravenclaw]

*charges at the dog, knocking it away from pebbestorm, full of cold determination* get away! *lets out a rare yowl full of rage* smashes it onto its belly and claws down angrily. lets the dog run. turns to pebblestorm.* oh, man, your leg! here, at the tunnel mouth, Hollypelt's over there. *helps pebblestorm limp across the clearing* hollypelt! the dog bit his leg! can you help? *leaves them, then turns to fight a large hound*

[Hollypelt]

*calmly applies a mixture of marigold, horsetail, burdock root, and ragwort onto the wound after getting the blood out with cobwebs* Eat this juniper berry for strength; if your lucky, you may be able to fight more in a while.

[Snowspirit]

*he leads the queens and kits to the warriors den quickly as the battle goes on*

[Blazestar]

*hisses, batting away two dogs, then tackling one. tries to hang on as the other dog tries to drag her off. lets go with a pained yowl, turns and lashes out at one, spins, kicking the other. one long cut on her side running, too ocupied to escape. snarls and jumps landing on one, claws at its eyes. jumps to the other and shreds one ear before getting thrown off. lands near hollypelt. scrabbles up. *pebblestorm! are you all right?

[Wavestream]

*he growls, tensing his leg muscles as he leaps onto a dog's back, ripping out fur. the dog turns its head, snapping its jaws. he dodges the attack and stands on his hind legs, slashing madly and the intruder*

[Oceanbreeze]

*sees another dog charging forward* //......................// *grabs a piece of fresh kill and runs towards the Deathclan border as the dog chases her*

[Blazestar]

(-___- that's.....not going to be do good) *grabs a large rabbit and runs* everyone! Come on! Follow me! Grab fresh kill! * watches the dogs follow* oceanbreeze....-___- um, let's take the prey to ashclan, not deathclan.... Runs to the deserted border, throws the prey in a small pile, then pulls all the warriors into tall grass* hide, when they're done, leave them be. If they're a threat, we'll ambush them!

[Snowfall]

*Hisses as a dog comes close to her, she bats at it's ear before running for prey, the dog follows her* //Must protect my new family!//
