*races after a mouse, trying to intercept it, jumps and lands in front, snapping its neck. turns and buries the prey, then freezes at a blackbird call. sees the fat bird, then slowly climbs the tree, claws sinking in the bark. leaps suddenly, clipping the wing and smashing the head onto the branch, snapping the neck. drags the bird down, takes the mouse, and heads off*
