She purrs as her kits come up. She licks Phantom, then Talon on the head. She looks at Wolfscar and nods.
"You two will undergo fighting training today. Wolfscar and I will help you two. First, me and Talon, then we'll switch."

She looks at Phantom, her green eyes glowing in eagerness to start. There were no suitable fighters that were a match for her. So training an apprentice was more entertaining then sitting around and letting her skills rot.
"Come. Attack me here."
She led him out into the field.

She led Talon to the space away from the two to give them room. She nodded at Talon.

He walked over with his momand nodded, his eyes narowing. He springs forward on his hind legs, kicking off a rock he had intelligently stepped on. He flipped through the air and swiped down at his mother's head.

*Thinks, instead of doing what his brother does, he tries a different method of unbalance, he circles Wolfscar as fast as he could before rushing to bite her back leg tendon*

She yawns as he circles him and looks at Talon. Oh, not bad, quite intelligent he used his surroundings to his advantage. He was faster, but not fast enough. She turned to focus on Phantom and blinked as he rushed forward at her leg. It wasn't a bad idea either but.....
"No"
She kicked straight at his face, missing narrowly on purpose but made him reel back to dodge, unbalanced. In that moment, she was standing above him with her claws unsheathed on his head. She took her paws off and smiled.
"That would have been your end. If you're going to get someone, don't circle them so long they have time to think and register what you're doing . You gave me time to prepare. When you charged in, you were to slow because you had to stop circling me. The minute you turned toward me, I knew you would charge. You turded and bit at my leg. You should have used your claws instead. I could have kicked you in the face. I wouldn't want to do that. It was smart, but I'm faster and larger than you. You have to use your brains.it was a nice try. Pretty decent, try again."

She blinked in suprise at his sudden burst of speed. His charge was fast. She stood firm, but then her jumped up and clawed down at her. She shook her head and stepped back. Talon landed in front of her and she swiped him backward with a gentle blow of her paw.
"No, the speed was impressive, and it's intelligent to use your surroundings. When you jumped in the air, it suprised me. Your mistake was you put everything into that one blow. You're supposed to think how this battl will go if you miss. That attack had bad recovery. You have to expect me to dodge it, and think out a string of strategies. Again."

He flipped into the ground, thougentle, the blow was solid. It didn't hurt at all though. He blinked and got up, listening to his mother. He smiled and nodded, taking in the advice. Then he padded the floor for a while. He launched off with strong hind legs. Of the hard earth he had packed. He landed on a tough patch to the side of his mother and swiped upward, at her side before leaving it as a feint and diving under her belly upside down, slamming into the ground with his back using his small size for speed. He slashed upward.

She was going to block the blow to her side when she noticed his speed as he slid under her and slashed upward, she jumped to the opposite way he lid. His claws missed. She stopped and nodded in approval.
"It's a nice move. Good thinking. A normal cat would have been caught. You should also consider the fact that if your opponent is light, then you could knock them off balance."

Her eyes follow the feint. Then she smiles. It had no killing intent it stopped a bit to short, notheless, she had followed it. She lost a few seconds to think of her next counter. Instead all she could do was dodge, but that was good enough. She rolled to the side and sprang in at Phantom's side.
"Dodge it!"
She slashed at him.
