She spotted him while she was hunting. An unfamiliar scent. The smoky gray hair on her back rose up. She sprang out of the bushes and landed in front of him.
"What are you doing here? Intruder!"

She catches a stray scent. Another one?
"Leader! Here!"
She leaps out, claws unsheathed, and slices some leaves from the bush, revealing a kit behind. She recoils next to Fallenstar and looks up.
"What is this? Are we under attack by kits?"
She looks at the kits. They were too young, harmless. There wasn't any more....there was one possibility. Her eyes saddened. Orphans?
