[Dawnkit]

With a yawn, Dawn pushes to her paws, blinking the sleep out of her eyes. As the den comes into focus, she realizes that she is not at home, curled in the warm crook of a knee. Her eyes widen and flicker around the nursery and she begins to panic before everything crashes back down onto her. The fire, the running, and then Skybreeze taking her back here, and meeting the 'clan'. The concept of a 'clan' is to foreign to her that it takes a moment to remember that Nudge was wrong, that they aren't cannibalistic strays living together in the forest-- they're a family, according to the medicine cat.

A jingle from her bell shocks her out of her memories, and she pushes out of the den, blinking as the bright light bombards her, making her squeeze her eyelids shut momentarily. She walks forward until she stands in the middle of the camp, then looks around, pulling everything into her memory, cataloging her new world.

lilykit~ She awoke with a yawn as Dawnkit padded out of the nursery looking bait shocked, she waddled slowly over to the entrance to the den and stuck her fluffy head out of it, "We no suppose be out of nursewy" she mewled

[Dawnkit]

She raises her face to the sky as a breeze blows through, ruffling her fur and bringing another chime from her bell. Dawn jumps as she hears Lilykit's small mew. "Oh, oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know." Even though she apologizes, she doesn't move, wanting to learn more about this new life.

[Smokewhisper]

(We're baaack!!) She stretches, her pink tongue curling. She unhinged her jaws in a huge yawn and studies the younger kits.
"Mornin'!"
She gets up and pads around.
"Lilykit, we can go outside, but I we just have to stay in camp."
Her speech is slurred and tired.
"We're older now, anyway. I could-'yawn'- use a wake up walk too...."

[Skybreeze]

She came back from gathering her herbs when she saw Dawn slip out. She put away the herbs and slipped inside the nursery.
"You guys are allowed to go out now, Smokekit is right. But."
She indicates that she has not finished, her voice taking a stern edge.
"If you do even as take a paw step out of territory, you are breaking the warrior code and will be punished. We have ways to tell if you did or not."

[Smokewhisper]

"Skybreeze~!"
She hummed her name. She pranced around her.
"So we can go outside! I wanna go take a stretch."

[Fallenstar]

*Purrs as she stands beside her medicine cat* Go on all of you. Have a fun day. Come on Airkit. Time to get up. *Nudges her youngest kit with her muzzle*

[Fallenstar]

*Looks around* Oh my! I almost forgot! It's time for Smokekit's ceremony! Today is the day she's an apprentice. *Rushes out of the nursery and stands where all the leaders before her stood* All those old enough to catch their own prey gather here for Smokekit's ceremony! //I'll be her mentor.//

[Dawnkit]

"Alright, Skybreeze." she replies, then hears Fallenstar call the gathering, and sits, facing the HighRock.

[Smokewhisper]

She looks up excitedly, then runs out into the clearing. (hehe)

[Fallenstar]

*Looks at her clan/family* As we all know, Smokekit is now old enough to become an apprentice. Smokekit, from now on, til your warrior ceremony, you will be known as Smokepaw. I will be your mentor.

[Smokewhisper]

Her eyes shine in excitement. The leader was her mentor! She reached up and touched noses with Fallenstar.

[Dawnkit]

(Fallenstar, seriously. This was MY thread. You're supposed to create a new one for ceremonies. Did you know if I was going to do something else here? Huh? Did you? NO. You didn't.)

[Fallenstar]

(heh, heh. Sorry. Continue.) Now. Let's go out and train. You all go back to what you were doing. *Leads Smokepaw out of camp* Let's hunt. (In Hunting in Stormclan's territory.)
